Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Arcana ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and members of Arcana.

2. Nature of the Service

Arcana provides tarot readings and archetype analysis for entertainment and reflective purposes only. The readings are not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including:

• Medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
• Legal or financial advice
• Crisis intervention or mental health support

Arcana does not claim to predict the future, communicate with spiritual entities, or provide certainty about any life outcome. All readings are generative interpretations based on algorithmic card selection and archetype scoring.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Provide accurate information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Arcana offers three membership tiers: Free Seeker, Premium Insight, and Oracle Elite. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time through your billing settings; access continues until period end.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Billing is processed by Stripe. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.

5. Intellectual Property

The Arcana platform, branding, reading content, and archetype system are owned by Arcana. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. Your personal reading data belongs to you.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Arcana to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer or extract the tarot engine or scoring system
• Resell or commercially exploit your access to the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access content

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arcana and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Arcana is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted by law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email.
